Chocolates are never new to our world, and people in the history even used it to make beverages from it. The Cacao Tree, whose Latin name is “Theobroma Cacao” or some also call it as God’s Food is mainly found in Central American rain forests. The atmosphere there with heavy rain fall, high temperature and humidity always proved to the best for this plant.
The Van Houten process, which was invented by a Dutch family, includes a method for extracting the “cocoa fat” from ground cocoa beans made it possible to produce less bitter tasting Cocoa Powder from Cocoa beans.
Most of the method used today to make chocolates, use the same old method with some or less added modifications.
